The Tigers lose game 1 of the inter league series against the Brewers in walk off fashion (thanks extra inning rule) 3-2. The game was a pitching duel and the scoring didn’t even start until the 6th inning when Johnathan Schoop singled in the first run to make the lead 1-0. The Brew Crew answered back also in the 6th with a 2-run shot from former Tiger Willy Adames. In the 7th, rookie sensation Akil Baddoo hits a solo shot to tie the game and that home run would be his first since April 13th in Houston.
There would be no more scoring until the bottom of the 10th when Luis Urias singled to deep right to win the game for the Brew Crew. The Tigers would finish may with an above .500 record for the third time in 5 years finishing with a 14-13 record.
Tigers try to split the series tomorrow at 7:40.
